Apple Pie Roses

Pie Dough:
3 c ap flour
1 tsp salt
1 c butter
¼ c sugar
½ c ice cold water
1 Tbsp vinegar
Sliced Apples:
3 apples
3 Tbsp chai tea
1/2 c white sugar
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
Cream Cheese:
1/2 c cream cheese
2 Tbsp honey
1 tsp cinnamon

Sift flour and salt in a large bowl.
Cut in the butter until mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Mix just until the dough is combined.
Sprinkle flour on counter and roll out dough. Split into 2 sections
Chill for at least 30 minutes
Marinate apples in sugar, chai, lemon , and salt until soft
Roll out dough a half inch thick.
Cut the dough into 2 inch thick strips
Cover dough strips with cream cheese
Follow by layering the apple slices on top of the cream cheese
Roll the entire combination into roses
Place each rose in muffin tray slots
Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes
Allow to cool and remove from tray
Serve with chai simple syrup and apple compote
